Ahhh...summer in Grand County. I personally think there's nothing better.
7 years ago now, my family and I came to our Winter Park town home "just for the summer" to escape the Denver heat. Boy oh boy were we in for a treat. The kids were outside all day long. Between small parking lot bike rides, to riding up to the resort for a trip down the Alpine Slide or a round of mini golf, to a hike at Snow Mountain Ranch or a trip to dip our feet and rent a kayak in Grand Lake, we enjoyed every minute of it. There was always something to do, an adventure awaiting us and we could always find someone to join us if we wanted the company. Thursday night's Music in the Park became a family tradition, as did at least one day at a music, food or wine festival. The options were literally endless. A few months later, we thought "hey, why don't we just stay up here a year" for something different. I wasn't working at the time (well, apart from raising our 3 kids) and my husband worked from home unless he was traveling and then just had to get to and from DIA.
Please see above the part where I mention '7 years ago now'! It's been this long and we're still going strong living the mountain life and raising our kids in this amazing community. We're still hitting the festivals, exploring new bike and hiking trails, paddle boarding and loving life up here. As it was 7 years ago, it is now with so many options. Winter Park has really grown into a 4 season resort with activities all year long.
Have questions or need recommendations? I'm proud to say we've experienced most of them, so feel free to reach out and ask for suggestions! When I'm not working out of our Real Estate of Winter Park's office in the center of town, you may find me running or mountain biking one of our many miles of trails this summer. I'll still be happy to talk to you!
Enjoy the summer!

Elle is proud to be one of the few true Grand County natives you’ll meet. Daughter of the Assistant Fire Chief and longtime Winter Park Ski Patroller, she has been fortunate to call this beautiful and supportive community home for her entire life. Upon graduating from Denver’s Metro State University, Elle did take some time away from home to work and travel overseas in Australia and New Zealand. Still yearning to explore, she returned to the United States where she spent time in both South Lake Tahoe and San Francisco where she worked for a mortgage company. But all along, Elle knew her true home in the Rocky Mountains was calling, and she returned to Winter Park in 2012. As a committee member of the Winter Park Chamber Advisory Board and co-founder of the Winter Park Young Professionals, Elle has proven that she is dedicated to building a strong future for her beloved community. She’s pleased to answer any questions you may have about the true “local experience,” and from the school district to the slopes, she’s eager to help make her hometown your hometown.

"Elle helped us purchase a mountain home in Tabernash. She was able to answer all the questions we had quickly and accurately. Elle made the process smooth and painless. I would highly recommend her to anyone"
